Did you conga before breakfast?
This morning I snuck out of the house while it was dark and quiet. Well, at least I tried to sneak out. I was busted by my four year old as I came back into the house to retrieve the laptop, and we had tears before 7am.
After I semi-successful handball I made it to my first Perth Business Chicks' event to hear from the raw, honest and hilarious Taryn Brumfitt of the Body Image Movement.
And what an event! It wasn't your average business breakfast - there was a lot of swearing, personal stories and we finished with a conga line!
The key take aways for me were not to wait until the "big four: death, divorce, illness and redundancy" to make a change, and to practice acceptance in our daily lives.
